Ashwagandha, also known as Winter cherry and Withania somnifera, is a small evergreen shrub. It grows up to 1.25 meters,  and it is a seasonal plant that blooms in the summer.

The roots of Ashwagandha are long and strong, its flowers are small and green, and the color of its ripe fruits becomes orange and red. This shrub grows in dry areas in India, Africa, and the Middle East.
