Healthy Diet and Daily Instructions for People Who Suffer from Gastritis – Allowed:
It is important for people who gastritis – peptic ulcer, to abide by the following instructions.
GENERAL ADVICE FOR PEOPLE WITH GASTRITIS:
- Adhere to a healthy diet and maintain healthy eating habits. Preferably, eat small meals at close intervals (every 2-3 hours) and chew food well before you swallow.

- Eat steamed cooked vegetables.
- Eat fresh and organic fruits and vegetables that are high in essential vitamins and minerals because they help reduce inflammation in gastritis and improve functioning of the digestive system and increase immunity.
- Prefer to eat orangy root vegetables such as pumpkins, carrots, and sweet potatoes. These vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals that contribute to the proper functioning of the digestive system and for gastritis.

- Allergenic foods that may cause discomfort and irritation in the digestive system such as corn, wheat, milk, dairy products, cheese, hazelnuts, preservatives, and food dyes that can aggravate inflammations in gastritis.
- Foods that are difficult to digest such as fried foods, hot spicy foods, and foods that contain grease and saturated fat.
- Processed sugars, hydrogenated oils and fast foods.
- Avoid lying down immediately after a meal.
